Will it hurt the birds or my cat?
No. ThornGuard is a humane deterrent — the spikes make surfaces uncomfortable to land or walk on, so animals simply avoid them. When correctly installed it does not harm wildlife or pets.
How do I fix it down?
Every pack includes screws and cable ties. For surfaces you can't drill — render, uPVC, AC units — use our 3M waterproof adhesive pads, sold separately.
Will it survive British weather?
Yes. ThornGuard is made from UV-stabilised virgin polypropylene designed to resist the brittleness and snapping that ruins cheap spikes.
